What should I do if it's my first time getting waxed at Beauti911 Skin Studio?

If it's your first time getting waxed, don't worry! Our experienced esthetician will guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have. To prepare for your appointment, make sure the area to be waxed is clean and dry. Avoid shaving or using any hair removal creams for at least two weeks prior to your appointment. What should I do if I get an ingrown hair?

Ingrown hairs can be painful and unsightly, but they are a common occurrence, especially in areas where hair is frequently shaved or waxed. At Beauti911, we recommend the following steps to treat ingrown hairs: 1. Exfoliate the affected area gently with a scrub or body wash to remove dead skin cells and help release the hair. 2. Apply a warm compress to the area for a few minutes to soften the skin and open up the hair follicle. 3. Use a clean pair of tweezers to gently pull out the hair. 4. Apply a topical cream or serum that contains salicylic acid or glycolic acid or tea treat oil to treat current and to help prevent future ingrown hairs. If the ingrown hair is infected or causing severe pain, we recommend seeing a dermatologist for further treatment. Our estheticians are also available to provide advice and recommendations for preventing and treating ingrown hairs during your facial spa appointments.
